Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance
The SSUP is working in partnership with Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (LNAA) to help support the charity's vital work.
The link to the air ambulance is a clear one - they regularly attend serious RTCs involving motorcyclists, particularly on the rural road network. They provide instant lifesaving treatment to riders at the scene before conveying them quickly to a trauma centre.
Many riders lives have been saved thanks to the wonderful work the staff of the air ambulance do.
They are a charity and rely on donations from members of the public to get them in the air.
As part of the partnership, the SSUP has delivered resources to LNAA charity shops - which are now available for riders to pick up.
As a general guide, the suggested voluntary donation should be as follows:
- Stickers - two different types, ‘Think Bike’ and ‘Turning Check Mirrors’ = 10 stickers for £1:00
- Snoods - Think Bike = £2.00
- Think Bike Vests – Assorted sizes = £3.00
- Think Bike Key rings = £2.00
The shops are in Mapperley and Mansfield Woodhouse in Nottinghamshire and in Wragby, Lincolnshire. Visit www.ambucopter.org.uk for more information.
We are also encouraging riders to make a donation to the LNAA via the button below.
Thank you for supporting SSUP and LNAA, working together to save lives.
