Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
For anyone wanting to ride a moped or scooter, compulsory basic training (CBT) must be taken (this can be done on a bike up to 50cc from the age of 16 years).
Staged (progressive) Access
If you want to progress to bigger bikes, there’s a simple path to follow - 'Staged Access'. The first part is the CBT, which grants you the ability to ride a motorbike of up to 125cc from the age of 17 years.
BikeSafe
BikeSafe is a police-led motorcyclist advisory, assessment and referral scheme.
BikerDown!
Many motorcyclists ride in groups or pairs, so it is often the case that when one is involved in a collision the first person on the scene will often be a fellow biker.
Blood Bikes
Blood Bikes is a UK Registered Charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers.
